SPECTRUM

Soon after looking at Shores work I began to think about colour and light within my own work.

I have always been interested in dramatising the world, being an insomniac night time is the most active part of my day on most occasions and the view from my bedroom window at night with the glowing amber street lights and the white floodlit car park backdropped by woodland has always caught my eye.

It is this simple scene I will use as stimulation to experiment with light and the urban landscape at night.

Another thought that I took from this was to solidify some previous thought regarding the intent to make visible that which often goes unnoticed, to draw attention to the banal through use of various techniques.
